Bad: No wall window & lack of hot water for shower. Good: breakfast, location, staff.
breakfast was excellent, perhaps the best part of the experience.
We had a room with no windows on the walls; only two skylights, so it felt a bit claustrophobic. Only intermittent Hot water for the shower. Staff showed us two valves under the sink for hot water to the shower and sink - hot water still marginal.

What was the highlight of Hotel Atlantis Amsterdam
It was a very pleasant stay, we enjoyed both Amsterdam and the hotel!
Breakfast was really nice, a lot of options to choose from and with cute tables beside windows. The bed was very comfortable and and the rooms had a nice decor. The location is perfect, only a 20 minute stroll to reach the Amsterdam city center. Near to the hotel there is pretty much everything: restaurants, supermarket, coffeeshop, tabak store, ecc..
The only thing that troubled us a little bit was the fact that when we first entered the room, we did a small check up of everything and we noticed that the wallpaper was torn off a little bit, the heater in the bathroom was leaking and there was hair in the shower (the structure asks you for 50 euros, to be sure you leave the room as you found it, and if they find something broken or ruined they keep them, if they don't they give them back to you) so we decided to notify the front desk in order to avoid misunderstandings at the check-out... and that's where the guy started almost accusing us of damaging the room and we were in that room for not more than 10 minutes.. after a little bit of talking he was convinced..
